An ink blotter containing an early photograph of the Great Incline. The blotter was an advertising device created an distributed by John A. Roebling’s Sons Company of Trenton, New Jersey – the manufacturers of the Incline’s steel cable (or as they called it, “Roebling Wire Rope”).
