Although I am not quite sure why, I am very impressed with the beautiful auditor’s signature of receipt. It looks so smooth and modern. I assume he or she was using a ball-point pen. However, since it was 1900, most likely a fountain pen of some sort was implemented. Or maybe, perhaps a quill? Nah.
